Shipping Rates & Delivery Timelines

All delivery timelines are estimates after shipment. Processing time, customs, local carrier conditions, remote areas, holidays, and peak seasons may affect final delivery time.

Shipping Overview

Our items may ship from the United States or our warehouse in Shanghai. If your order ships from Shanghai, delivery may take slightly longer. We will do our best to ship as quickly as possible.

Shipping fees, available carriers, and final delivery estimates may vary by destination and will be confirmed at checkout. Checkout information should be treated as the final shipping quote for your order.

Processing Time

Most ready-to-ship orders are processed as quickly as possible. Processing time may vary depending on order volume, product availability, handmade production timing, warehouse location, or pre-order status.

If an item is handmade, limited, or pre-order based, the product page may show additional timing details.

Delivery Estimates

Delivery estimates begin after the package has departed, not necessarily from the moment the order is placed. Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Customs processing, local carrier delays, holidays, incorrect address details, and remote delivery locations may extend delivery time.

02 / Tracking

Tracking & Delivery

Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent by email. International tracking may take additional time to update.

How Can I Track My Order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can use that tracking number to follow delivery progress through the carrier.

You can also check your shipment status through our Track My Order page.

For international orders, tracking updates may take 3–10 business days to appear because of the transition between carriers.

Why Is My Tracking Not Updating?

Tracking systems can take time to update, especially for international shipments, handmade items, or pre-order items. Please allow a few business days after receiving your shipping confirmation email before reaching out.

If tracking has not updated for an unusually long time, contact us with your order number.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been confirmed as delivered to the correct address, FERROUS LAB is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your package is marked delivered but cannot be found, please check with household members, neighbors, building management, mailrooms, and the local carrier first.

Duties, Taxes & Returned Packages

Duties and taxes for most non-U.S. international orders are covered by FERROUS LAB when the package is dispatched. Returned or undelivered packages may require a reshipping fee.

All duties and taxes for most non-U.S. international orders will be covered by FERROUS LAB when the package is dispatched. Your package should not be held by customs for unpaid import charges.

Address Accuracy

Please make sure all shipping details are correct before placing your order. Orders returned due to an invalid, incomplete, or insufficient address may require an additional shipping fee for reshipment.

If you notice an address mistake, contact us immediately. If the package has already shipped, address changes may not be possible.

Returned & Undelivered Packages

If an order is returned to us because of an invalid or incomplete address, or if it is unclaimed, a reshipping fee will apply as follows:

  • US: $6 USD
  • UK and Europe: $6 USD
  • Canada and Australia: $7 USD
  • Rest of the world: $9 USD

Because all FERROUS LAB products are handmade, we do not accept general returns or exchanges. Product issues are reviewed case by case.

Because all FERROUS LAB products are handmade, we do not accept general returns or exchanges.

This includes change-of-mind returns, incorrect size selection, styling preference changes, or general buyer’s remorse.

Damaged, Defective, or Product Issue

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you believe there is a problem with the product itself, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Ferrouslab@gmail.com.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the product and packaging, if applicable

Final Sale / Sale Items

Discounted items, promotional items, limited drops, and special campaign purchases may be treated as final sale unless there is confirmed shipping damage or a verified product issue.

Product issue review still applies if the item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered.

Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Review & Resolution

Once reviewed, we will determine the appropriate resolution. Depending on the issue, this may include:

  • A replacement
  • An exchange
  • A refund

Any request made after 48 hours from the recorded delivery time may not be eligible for review or compensation.

FERROUS LAB products may include handmade finishes and natural variations. These differences are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.

Warranty / Product Quality Issues

If your product arrives with a confirmed manufacturing defect or shipping damage, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will work with you on a suitable solution.

We stand by the craftsmanship of our products and are happy to help if you have questions or concerns.

Care Reminder

Jewelry and metal accessories should be kept away from excessive moisture, perfume, lotion, sweat, chemicals, heavy friction, and improper storage. Proper care helps preserve the finish and overall appearance of the piece.

This Policy Does Not Cover

  • Damage caused by misuse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage after delivery
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Damage caused by water, perfume, lotion, sweat, chemicals, or improper storage
  • Minor handmade variations in finish, texture, shape, color, measurement, or detail
